4TH INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL IN SHARJAH

As the sole Danish artist to do so, Dorte Dahlin exhibited her work at the 4th International Biennial in Sharjah in 1999.

Her participation resulted in the realisation of the exhibition OVERLAPS. North-Southeast, Sharjah 2000, which eventually came to serve as the premises for a cultural agreement between Denmark and the emirate of Sharjah (UAE).

The cultural agreement has developed into NOMAD ACADEMY, headed by Dorte Dahlin and former rector of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Dr. phil Else Marie Bukdahl.
